Derbyshire teacher runs up over £500 for school

A Matlock teacher ran up cash for her school when she took part in the world’s greatest half-marathon.

Prudence Gooch competed in The Great North Run, which was won by Mo Farah for the men and Mary Keitany for the women

The nursery teacher and lower school leader at Castle View Primary School achieved her dream when she ran the 13.1-mile course across Newcastle in 2hours and 26minutes earlier this month.
